Amtrak is offering a 15% discount off the regular adult fare to students for travel throughout the Midwest. This discount is valid for sale and travel between now and 31 March 2022.
It’s valid on the following trains: Wolverine, Blue Water, Pere Marquette, Illini, Saluki, Illinois Zephyr, Missouri River Runner, Lincoln Service, Carl Sandburg, Hiawatha, and associated Thruways. It’s not valid on the 7000-8999 Thruway series.
How To Get The Amtrak Midwest Student Discount
To get this discount, you’ll have to purchase your ticket on the Amtrak website, and the discount will be automatically applied at the time of purchase. Although there is no verification of your student status at the time of booking, you should have your valid student ID with you on the train.
